Evidence in Earth Science Appoints Prof. Dr. Oimahmad Rahmonov as Section Editor-in-Chief for Environmental Impact and Sustainability



Evidence Publisher is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr. Oimahmad Rahmonov as Section Editor-in-Chief for the Environmental Impact and Sustainability section of the international journal Evidence in Earth Science (EIES).

Prof. Rahmonov is a distinguished scholar at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland (41-200 Sosnowiec). His extensive research bridges key areas of modern environmental science, with primary interests including:

  • Soil–vegetation interactions and ecosystem dynamics

  • Human impact and the assessment of ecosystem functioning

  • Ecosystem development in areas transformed by anthropogenic activity

  • Sustainable development and the analysis of ecosystem services


His leadership and expertise will strengthen EIES’s mission to advance cutting-edge research on the environmental consequences of human activities and pathways toward sustainability. Under Prof. Rahmonov’s guidance, the Environmental Impact and Sustainability section will highlight innovative studies, critical assessments, and forward-looking strategies that inform global efforts to balance development with ecological integrity.

Evidence in Earth Science is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue across geosciences and related fields. The journal provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to address pressing challenges such as climate change, resource management, and environmental protection.

Call for Papers
All sections in EIES are now welcoming high-quality submissions worldwide. Authors are encouraged to submit original research articles, reviews, and case studies that explore human–environment interactions, ecosystem services, and sustainable development practices.
